Laguna Hills High School Joins IEA

The IEA welcomes Laguna Hills High School located in Orange County, California as its newest school member to join the alliance. Adam Wong, president of the MADE Ecology Club at Laguna Hills High School, first approached the IEA to see about help in promoting the “Biggest Loser” in energy contest organized by the Alliance for Climate Education (ACE) of which he is the Orange County Youth Rep. Needless to say, the IEA helped promote this extremely noble energy cause. To date one of our IEA schools has joined this contest and we hope more will follow.

Adam Wong’s MADE Club has already established a successful recycling program and a self-sufficient native plant habitat. Now through both the IEA and ACE his ecology club will also become involved in making  positive energy related changes to the environment. We look forward to benefiting from Adam’s excitement and passion for the environment and the MADE Club participation and contributions to our website.
