2012 Sustainability Forum at Soka University in Aliso Viejo
It is very exciting that for the third consecutive year, Eco-Stride is presenting a Sustainability Forum, this year at the beautiful Soka University Campus in Aliso Viejo, California on April 12th, 2012 from 8:30AM to Noon. “We are proud to present a program of speakers who will discuss sustainability, and how to bring this important subject matter into the classroom” says Ross Chun, CEO of Eco-Stride. Ross Chun of Eco-Stride very graciously volunteers as an adviser for the IEA, and he is always there to help us when we need him. Mr. Chun also is extremely active in the schools and school districts within Orange County. We at the IEA are not really sure how he does it all, but we are glad he does.

Soka University is a private, non-profit. four-year liberal arts college and graduate school located on 103 acres in South Orange County, California in the City of Aliso Viejo. This year, Soka celebrates its 10th anniversary, and brings a rich offering of performances at its LEED Certified performing arts center. Eco-Stride selected Soka as the location for this year’s Sustainability Forum because of the beautiful campus, and their philosophy of environmental preservation and sustainability. Soka University is supporting the 2012 Sustainability Forum as a Community Partner, along with notable organizations like The Surfrider Foundation, The Laguna Canyon Foundation, and Savannah’s Organic Ranch. Corporate sponsors include Cox Communications and Professional Community Management.
